A few years ago I decided to spend more
time recording how I take in imagery, in particular, examples of marks
and forms that are a result of work.
I love collecting images of partially melted snow piles because they are shaped, re-shaped, and misshapen by natural forces like wind and temperature fluctuations, and also by willpower and tools.
Check out more of my photos of snow piles.
Tomorrow will be perfect weather to photograph more snow piles-- mid-30's, after several weeks of cold, snow, plowing, shoveling, a brief melting, then more snow and shoveling and melting.
